Caroline Scheufele, co-president and artistic director of Chopard, welcomed Julia Roberts to a dinner in honor of the ‘Chopard x Julia Roberts’ High Jewelry collection.
Before the Oscars ceremony, the Maison unveiled its first creative collaboration with its ambassador.

A dinner was held at the legendary Château Marmont to honor Chopard ambassador Julia Roberts. Surrounded by Elton John and other select guests, they unveiled their first creative collaboration: an incredible High Jewelry set including a necklace, a ring, and a pair of earrings adorned with stones from the Insofu emerald.
The ‘Chopard x Julia Roberts’ parure emerged from the creative dialogue between Scheufele and Roberts, with the aim of showcasing the first gems resulting from the cutting of a 6,225-carat rough emerald acquired by Chopard several years ago. The Insofu emerald, with its extremely rare cut and texture, reflects the Maison’s bold approach, which, by following a rough stone from the mine to the final jewelry creations, guarantees the full traceability of this unique gem.

Julia Roberts was involved in the design of these jewels and was inspired by traditional Indian jewelry to enhance the intense color of the emeralds by combining them with rubellites and turquoise. With the latter, a stone that has been present throughout the life of the Chopard ambassador, she has imbued these creations with her own personality.
The actress was delighted to wear this exceptional parure for the first time that evening. Accompanied by Jason Pelsey’s jazz trio in a completely floral setting, the dinner included a spectacular fashion show combining the latest High Jewelry creations from Chopard’s workshops with Caroline’s haute couture collection.
