The Black Diamond Apple cannot be grown everywhere. It requires extremely cold weather conditions. Its cultivation primarily takes place in the hills of Tibet and Bhutan. It is said that this apple is as precious as a diamond, which is how it got its name. The apple is rich in soluble fiber, which helps reduce cholesterol and prevent heart diseases. It also contains insoluble fiber, which improves the digestive system and provides relief from problems like constipation.

The Black Diamond Apple is rich in Vitamin C and A, along with essential minerals like potassium and iron, which strengthen the body’s immune system. Cultivating them also takes more time compared to other apples. While other apple trees take 4 to 5 years to bear fruit, the black apple tree takes 8 years to produce fruit.
