The 7th Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair will open its doors on January 31st, 2016, offering trade visitors the largest choice of cut loose diamonds ever.
The Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair has been firmly established on the international trade fair calendar since 2010. It is a full-fledged diamond fair – the flagship of three of Antwerp’s diamond bourses.
Seven years ago, a few of the younger Antwerp diamond dealers launched an innovative concept: a ‘niche’ fair, dedicated solely to loose polished diamonds.
Of course, all diamond-related services needed by buyers and sellers alike are provided on site: banks, gem labs, logistics, security providers, shippers and insurers.
• 80 percent of the global annual rough diamond production is traded in Antwerp;
• 50 percent of which returns to Antwerp as polished diamonds;
• The Antwerp diamond quarter is home to 1800 diamond companies.
• The majority of the De Beers Group Sightholders are headquartered in Antwerp.
• Antwerp is the homestead of leading gemmological laboratories such as HRDANTWERP, as well as a unique research lab, the WTOCD, with engineers developing cutting-edge technologies servicing the industry.
Thanks to Antwerp’s cutting-edge technology and savoir-faire, diamonds can be laser-inscribed with microscopic messages for eternity as a foolproof birthmark.
Retail jewelers and manufacturers are kindly invited to the ADTF’s seventh edition from January 31 to February 2, 2016, to ‘see’ for themselves that the quote “Diamonds love Antwerp” is quite justified!
Love is confidence. Confidence is the 5th ‘C’ when it comes to buying a diamond. Only Kimberley Process certified rough diamonds can enter Antwerp. This offers a cast-iron guarantee for conflict-free diamonds. Indeed, integrity is a key value in Antwerp!
The Antwerp Diamond Fair is a 21st century exchange platform which draws its expertise from centuries-old tradition. It is committed to the future thanks to its research for excellence, ethics for sustainable investments.
The Antwerp Diamond Fair is also the opportunity to visit gem labs, attend the educational programs, meet with colleagues and partners from various sectors of the industry and feel the market.
