It was often assumed that the show’s lead, Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, would be paid the most. However, recent reports tell a different story. According to a report by Business Insider, Winona Ryder and David Harbour were the most expensive actors this season. Both charged over $1 million per episode (approximately ₹8,92,85,500.00 according to current Indian currency) for Season 5. These two have been the highest-paid actors on the show since the beginning.
According to reports, actress Millie Bobby Brown earned $300,000 (₹2,67,85,845.00) per episode in Season 5. This amount is not small, but she was not in the top position.
Millie’s on-screen friends—Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp—all received approximately $7 million (₹62,50,17,050.00) for the entire season. This means all friends were paid equally.
Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, and Maya Hawke also received large sums this season. According to reports, they were paid $750,000 (₹6,69,64,612.50) per episode and approximately $6 million (₹53,57,01,000.00) for the entire season.
