Pokémon fans torn over Ruby/Sapphire Nintendo Switch leak
A New Leak Has Fans Split

With the news of an upcoming Pokémon Presents showcase coming very soon, rumours are picking up on what we might see unveiled during the presentation.
The showcase is set for 27 February, and fans are starting to speculate on whether we’ll see more of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, or possibly some classic Pokémon games getting a rerelease.
According to one rumour which spawned on 4Chan, and has been reported on Twitter, we could be getting a Pokémon Classic Collection bringing the first three generation games to the Nintendo Switch.
The rumour goes that we’ll be getting Pokémon Memories, which will contain Red, Gold, Ruby and Fire Red.
There will also be Pokémon Reminiscence which will feature Blue, Silver, Sapphire, and Leaf Green.
Personally, this would be great news, as it’s always felt like Nintendo seemingly doesn’t care about the older games in the franchise, however, fans seem split on this potential release.

“Why not just put them on the Switch GB & GBA?”
“IF THIS REAL WE ARE SO BACK BABY.”
“It sounds too good to be true.”
“I’m definitely taking this with the tiniest grain of salt possible. I don’t think the Pokémon company has the balls.”

Now we’ll all be waiting until 27 February to see if any of this turns out to be true.
I’d love to see it, purely to allow modern audiences a good way to play the classics without paying a fortune or having to emulate, but will Nintendo pull the trigger?
