【South Korea】DeepSales Uses AI Sales Agents to Help Jewelry Exporters Find Overseas Buyers

Editor’s Note

**Editor’s Note:** DeepSales has partnered with the Wolgok Jewelry Industry Promotion Foundation to equip 12 domestic jewelry exporters with its AI sales agent, Selly, under the 2026 AI Voucher Support Project. This initiative aims to streamline overseas buyer discovery and automate outbound sales, marking a strategic step in leveraging AI for export growth.

DeepSales Partners with Wolgok Jewelry Industry Promotion Foundation to Support AI-Powered Buyer Discovery

B2B AI sales agent company DeepSales has partnered with the Wolgok Jewelry Industry Promotion Foundation to help domestic jewelry exporters discover overseas buyers and automate outbound sales.

On June 9, DeepSales announced that it has officially launched the ‘2026 AI Voucher Support Project’ by supplying its AI sales agent ‘Selly’ to 12 domestic jewelry export companies in collaboration with the foundation.

The ‘2026 AI Voucher Support Project’ is a government initiative worth approximately 26.6 billion KRW, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). DeepSales is participating as a supplier for the small business segment and will carry out the project for about six months until November 30 of this year.

DeepSales will deliver its LLM-based AI sales agent solution as a SaaS product to each client company. The plan is to automate the entire outbound sales process, from global buyer discovery to overseas email outreach.

Onboarding for 12 Jewelry Export Companies

The orientation session was held on June 9. Representatives from 12 small businesses in the jewelry and accessories sector, including K-Gold, The DN Corporation, and Le Hwi, attended the event.

The event was organized to share detailed project execution plans and guide the onboarding process for customized AI training before the full implementation of the AI solution. DeepSales will support each company by enabling the AI to discover suitable buyers and generate sales messages tailored to their product characteristics and target markets.

Many domestic small and medium-sized exporters and small business owners have cited a lack of buyer information and dedicated sales personnel as major challenges in overseas expansion. In particular, jewelry companies often face limitations in expanding exports due to insufficient overseas sales networks and infrastructure, despite having competitive product quality and design.

DeepSales aims to help jewelry companies operate their own overseas sales pipelines without needing dedicated sales staff through this project.

Target: Over 300 Buyer Discoveries per Month

DeepSales is focusing on transitioning buyer discovery tasks—traditionally reliant on offline exhibitions or manual methods—to an AI-based approach.

The company has set a goal of increasing the average number of buyer discoveries per company from the current 3 per month (based on its solution’s operational data) to over 300 per month. Additionally, it aims to reduce the weekly time spent on buyer discovery preparation from 5 hours to under 1 hour, achieving a reduction of over 80%.

The plan also includes raising the response rate for overseas email outreach above the company’s existing operational average. This is intended to support sales outcomes that go beyond simple information searches, leading to actual export consultations and contracts.

“The biggest bottleneck for domestic jewelry exporters is the lack of personnel and infrastructure to execute overseas sales, despite having excellent product competitiveness,” said Lee Ji-hyun, PM at DeepSales. “Through the AI sales agent ‘Selly,’ we will help them access potential buyers worldwide beyond existing limited channels and support them in achieving tangible export contracts, together with the Wolgok Foundation.”

Meanwhile, DeepSales is a B2B SaaS company that provides suitable buyer recommendations and multilingual email autonomous sales processes based on approximately 60 million global buyer data points. It holds ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 international security certifications and plans to provide ongoing post-project management and feature updates to client companies even after the project concludes.
