Ranchi: The CID (Criminal Investigation Department) is taking a stern stance on the increasing incidents of robbery and dacoity in jewelry stores across various districts of Jharkhand over the past few months. The DIG CID has called for a crucial review meeting today (Thursday) with the SIT (Special Investigation Team) for the swift detection of cases and the apprehension of criminals in different districts.
The main objective is to review the current investigation status of the jewelry robbery incidents that have occurred in the past few months and to formulate a strategy to reach the criminals. All concerned case IOs (Investigating Officers) have been directed to attend the meeting with updated records related to their respective cases and progress reports to date.
