Gold Prices Remain Unchanged

Damascus, Feb.23 (SANA) – Gold prices in the Syrian market remained unchanged on Monday at levels recorded on Saturday, with 21-carat gold priced at 17,000 Syrian pounds per gram under the country’s new currency.

According to the pricing bulletin issued by the Goldsmiths Association, 21-carat gold was set at 17,000 pounds per gram for sale and 16,650 pounds for purchase.
The price of 18-carat gold stood at 14,550 pounds per gram for sale and 14,200 pounds for purchase.
