This article highlights the record-breaking participation at the INHORGENTA AWARD 2026, a key industry event celebrating excellence in jewelry and watch design.

The winners of the INHORGENTA AWARD 2026 were announced at the Bavaria Filmstudios in Munich. More than 500 guests from industry, trade, and media attended the ninth award ceremony. The award is presented as part of the INHORGENTA watch and jewelry trade fair and is considered an industry prize for jewelry design, luxury watches, and gemstones.
The INHORGENTA AWARD 2026 honors companies, designers, and specialist retailers from the international jewelry and watch industry. Ten prizes were awarded in Munich. 148 submissions from 19 countries mark a record level of participation. In the category Watch Design of the Year, Accutron by Bulova was honored.
In the gemstone segment, Arnoldi International impressed with a nearly 13-carat bicolor imperial topaz. The jury highlighted the intense coloration, ranging from purplish rose tones to orange and copper nuances, as well as the precise cut that makes these color transitions visible.
Capolavoro was awarded for the ring “Grace 1991”. The decisive criterion was the three-dimensional brilliance achieved through an invisible, flexible technique.
In the category High Jewelry of the Year, Krisonia Alta Gioielleria prevailed with a white gold necklace set with numerous sapphires and diamonds. The jury praised the balanced proportions and the precise execution of classic high jewelry craftsmanship.
Johannes Hundt was honored as Designer of the Year for the pendant “Untitled”. The jury emphasized the materiality and haptic quality of the piece, as well as the consistently implemented, independent design approach.
In the category Design Newcomer of the Year, Georg Schiller convinced with the “Affinity Bracelet”, which stands out for its clearly defined design concept and precise detail work.

In the watch sector, Tutima Glashütte was awarded Mechanical Watch of the Year for the model “PATRIA in Titanium”. Key factors were an in-house mechanical movement and the artisanal execution.
The Watch Design of the Year award went to Accutron by Bulova. In this category, the jury placed particular emphasis on design, function, and technology forming a coherent unit.
The Luxury Watch of the Year Public Choice was awarded to Glashütte Original for the “PanoMaticLunar”. The decision was made by readers of WirtschaftsWoche after a pre-selection of 14 models by an expert jury.
In the stationary retail sector, Juwelier Müller from Kempten was named Jeweller of the Year. The jury honored the combination of tradition, curated assortment, and contemporary brand presence.
The title Goldsmith Studio of the Year went to Ruth Sellack for a clearly recognizable design signature and a consistently craftsmanship-oriented working method.
With 148 submissions from 19 countries, the INHORGENTA AWARD 2026 recorded the highest participation to date. The range of submissions spanned from unique pieces in the high jewelry segment to industrially manufactured luxury watches with manufacture calibers.
The record participation underscores the growing international competitive intensity in the high jewelry and luxury watch segment.
