Penélope Cruz and Atelier Swarovski have joined forces to present the first Fine Jewelry collection designed by the Spanish actress for the brand. The event took place during an exclusive cocktail party at Paris Haute Couture Week.
Founder and Creative Director of Atelier Swarovski, Nadja Swarovski, and Penélope Cruz hosted the launch, which was attended by renowned figures. The celebration was held at the Apicius restaurant in the French capital, where the international film star showcased the Atelier Swarovski by Penélope Cruz Fine Jewelry collection.
The collection presented by Cruz is crafted with created and genuine precious stones, set in 18-karat Fair Trade gold. This series is framed within the concept of conscious luxury. Indeed, this collection marks the brand’s commitment to manufacturing all its fine jewelry pieces with responsibly sourced gold.
Atelier Swarovski offers cutting-edge jewelry, accessories, and home decor items. This brand from the Swarovski house pushes the boundaries of creativity with created crystalline precious stones and genuine gems. At the same time, it collaborates with the world’s top talents in fashion, jewelry, architecture, and design.
Atelier Swarovski was founded by Nadja Swarovski in 2007. Its primary goal is to serve as a showcase for creativity, craftsmanship, masterful cutting, and material innovations. The brand presents seasonal jewelry and accessories collaborations twice a year, alongside its core collections, which constantly offer new items.
Previous collaborators of Atelier Swarovski include Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, Jason Wu, Christopher Kane, Maison Margiela, and Mary Katrantzou for jewelry, and Zaha Hadid, Daniel Libeskind, and Ron Arad for home decor.
With its focus on conscious luxury, Atelier Swarovski introduced its first fine jewelry collections made with Swarovski Created Diamonds in 2017. It was certified as a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council last year.
In 2018, it continues its path toward sustainability. Indeed, Atelier Swarovski announced its partnership with Fair Trade. Currently, the brand works with an artisanal mine in Peru to incorporate responsibly sourced gold into all future collections.
