In summer, when clothing becomes lighter, fashion concerns grow. Cho Hyun-min, CEO of the jewelry specialty shopping mall ‘Goldria’, said,
Having a strong interest in business, CEO Cho worked various part-time jobs during college. He particularly preferred sales positions, where he could gain experience in communication skills, product knowledge, and drive—all essential for business.
After graduation, he accumulated practical experience in automotive sales and jewelry wholesale distribution. In 1999, when internet shopping malls were spreading like a trend in Korea, CEO Cho was captivated by the ‘shopping environment free from time and place constraints’ and opened Goldria.
Today, education and consulting for starting a shopping mall are easily accessible, but back then, he had to research everything himself. Even while running the business, he continuously studied shopping mall operations.

Currently operating through Korea Center’s e-commerce integrated solution ‘MakeShop’, Goldria prioritizes ‘customer-centric service’. Goldria currently operates a same-day shipping system—’Order today, receive tomorrow’—and offers lifetime after-sales service. It is building a trustworthy brand image by presenting stylish designs and high-quality jewelry.
Last year, the company opened a new office building in Jongno 3-ga, the mecca of Korean jewelry. Reflecting customer demand to see products in person before purchase, they operate a first-floor jewelry shop and a second-floor café lounge. The lounge is open to the public for free, offering a space where anyone can come and enjoy tea and conversation comfortably.
