Im Sook Lee, CEO of Needin and a first-generation accessory designer renowned for creating button-like jewels, has launched an online marketplace named ‘Verrytaste’.
In the early 1990s, when designers from the SFAA (Seoul Fashion Artists Association) were active, Lee gained recognition through brand OEM and ODM work. Even a pebble lying on the street would turn into a gem under her touch.

As a senior who started first, she also wants to provide a space for juniors preparing for new beginnings to unfold their ideas. Through many designers, she will communicate with young artists who will share diverse tastes within the ‘Verrytaste’ space. A partnership has been established with designer Jeong Hye-seung, an FIT accessory major. The first theme of Verrytaste is ‘Crushed Wrinkles’.
CEO Im Sook Lee, leveraging her long-standing expertise, has launched a professional total accessory brand. She expressed her aspiration: “Starting with jewelry, I want to create a brand recognized both domestically and internationally—not just ending with the first generation, but making accessory products that will be loved forever and cherished for years to come.”

Needin is located at 86 Yeonmujang-gil, Seongsu-dong. Website: www.verrytaste.com. The collection includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings. This project attempts coloring to show different feelings with the same motif. Accessory materials include brass, silver plating, and freshwater pearls. Plans for the future include expanding into leather, synthetic leather belts, charm decorations, bags, and living accessories.
