Now there is also an option in between: waterproof jewelry. This usually consists of stainless steel or aluminum. The pieces are gold-plated. To make them particularly durable, some receive a layer of PVC.
Of course, waterproof jewelry doesn’t withstand everything. However, the pieces promise quite a lot. Many of them are hypoallergenic due to their coating, they are supposed to not tarnish and, of course, be waterproof. The well-known Instagram brand Purelei unfortunately did not provide us with any models for testing.
