The new Miu Miu jewelry collection, in collaboration with artists Nathalie Djurberg & Hans Berg, challenges the codes of high jewelry.
The creations of “A Remedy” are inspired by a series of sculptures created by the artists in 2015. Like the sculptures, the colorful and innocent jewels appear in the form of flowers, animals, and pills. All pieces in the collection are made from resin, hand-finished, and hand-polished metal galvanized in a nickel-free gold finish.
Djurberg and Berg also served as the artistic directors of the campaign—a campaign that conveys the innocence and color of the collection. Photographed by Julien Martinez Leclerc and styled by the usual Lotta Volkova, the images show Isadora Bjarkardóttir Barney wearing the jewels and interacting with otherworldly creatures, from birds to skeletal hands.
The jewels are shown from different perspectives. First, through the eyes of the actress Isadora, then through our own, and finally through those of otherworldly creatures.
They have left no stone unturned in this jewelry collection for Miu Miu. As if the campaign and concept were not enough, the pieces come in equally striking packaging. The box that wraps the jewel is adorned with drawings of flora and fauna in vibrant tones. When opened, music composed especially for the project by Hans Berg plays inside.

This is the first time Isadora, daughter of artist Björk and American film director Matthew Barney, has done a major fashion campaign. Will she join Emily Ratajkowski and other models, and become a regular muse for Miu Miu from now on?
