After yet another seasonal victory at the Menorca Open, in the World Padel Tour 2022, Alejandro Galán, the world number one in padel, has become the brand ambassador of the Hublot maison.
The brand, founded in 1980, has thus expanded its horizons in the world of sports by presenting Galán as a new friend of the brand. A unique padel player, whose discipline has seen historic global growth over the past five years, with a notable increase in the number of clubs in Europe.
Galán’s sports career in the World Padel Tour began in 2016. That year, he competed in the Benjamín category and played in the Minor Tournament, where he immediately stood out. In 2019, he started by winning the sixth tournament of the season, the Buenos Aires Padel Master in Argentina. Then he continued and achieved success at the Valencia Open. The following year would be the definitive one for Galán, when he took the number one position in world padel.
Now the Swiss luxury watch maison has welcomed Galán. The player thus joins other legendary athletes in the Hublot family from tennis, football, skiing, athletics, golf, polo, sailing, and baseball.
