【Mexico】Maestros Joyeros: A Symbol of Innovation and Identity

Editor’s Note

**Editor’s Note:** After eight decades in Mexico, Oro Boleado’s Maestros Joyeros brings its blend of tradition, artistry, and technology to the U.S. market, carrying forward a family legacy under César Villegas.

Maestros Joyeros: A Symbol of Innovation and Identity

After 80 years in the Mexican market, Oro Boleado jewelry is making its way to the United States.

With over 80 years of experience, Oro Boleado jewelry has brought to life Maestros Joyeros, a company that combines tradition, art, technology, and exclusivity.

Under the leadership of César Villegas, and following the legacy of his great-grandfather, this company is now poised to enter the U.S. market after 80 years of presence in Mexico, while maintaining a global footprint.

Grupo Oro Boleado started as a door-to-door jewelry sales business and has evolved into exclusive showcases featuring unique pieces full of art, innovation, ideas, and technology.

The brand’s Chief Operating Officer, César Villegas, described how the artist and the client engage with proposals for new designs, as each crafted piece is unique and special.

Maestros Joyeros is recognized worldwide, earning its reputation through the art, dedication, and innovative techniques applied to each gold piece they create.

Their creations are at the forefront of personalized jewelry, and cleanliness in style is their hallmark of excellence.

Grupo Oro Boleado

Grupo Oro Boleado not only creates pieces in gold and silver but also, through its subsidiaries, engages in the buying and selling of high-quality gold via its company Kilatum Metales Finos.

Through Unlimited, they commercialize gold-plated pieces; Gemmex handles 3D services and specialized machinery for other jewelers.

Mexican jewelry combines the tradition of goldsmithing with technological innovation to create unique pieces that reflect the identity of its clients.

Client-Artist Interaction

A piece is born from the relationship and communication between the client and the artist. César Villegas describes how, starting from a vague idea from the client, a unique and incomparable product is created with personalized design.

Maestros Joyeros aims for each piece to be connected to the story and essence of each person, which is why the communication and relationship between designer and buyer are so important.

Among its clients, a notable piece was created for Mexican singer Natanael Cano: a gorilla weighing approximately 850 grams with 12,500 diamonds, combining art, design, and technological innovation.

Gold was fused with design using imported LED materials, PVC cards, circuits, and even a cell phone application with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Today, Maestros Joyeros has 350 collaborators in the manufacturing area and continues to add talent to its team, sharing the knowledge of the most experienced members.
