Much has changed on the site of the former Romika shoe factory in Gusterath-Tal. Lofts have even been created, offering an ideal space for creatives from the region—and for two well-known jewelry designers who design their collections there.

At first glance, the former site of the Romika shoe factory looks like a lost place. No shoes or boots have been produced there since 1994. But upon closer inspection, numerous company signs can be seen, and lofts have been created where one feels more like being in a big city than just a few kilometers from Trier. An ideal place for creatives from the region—and for two jewelry designers whose main headquarters are in Paris.
