**Editor’s Note:** This article highlights the one-year collaboration between Boodles and Mulliner, resulting in a bespoke Bentley Continental GTC that pushes the boundaries of luxury with powder pink hues, 24-carat gold accents, and artisanal details.
It has been a year since the creative teams at Boodles collaborated with Mulliner on this project, with ambitious specifications to create a unique car combining refined colors, rare materials, and artisanal details. Already luxurious, this Bentley Continental GTC goes further with Boodles’ signature powder pink hues, 24-carat gold accents, natural stone veneers, and “Be Boodles” embroidery inside.
Aesthetically, this Continental GTC features an Anthracite Grey exterior finish, contrasting with a light grey fabric roof, as well as polished 22-inch Mulliner wheels painted in Tungsten Grey, complemented by glossy black brake calipers.
Boodles’ extra touch is materialized by a powder pink pinstripe, found on the edge of the front spoiler, side skirts, and rear bumper of the Styling specification. A grey exterior badge, bearing the chromed text “Boodles 1798”, has been affixed to the front wings, while upon opening the doors, ambient lighting projects the Boodles logo onto the ground.
Inside, the ambiance was inspired by Boodles’ jewelry boxes: it is a true jewel case found here, with a custom bi-color leather trim combining Linen beige leather on the seats, contrasting with Porpoise grey leather on the seat backs, dashboard, gear lever, and steering wheel.
Stitches of Boodles’ famous powder pink are found on the steering wheel insert, door panels, dashboard, and center console, not to mention the seat piping. The seats and door panels feature the embroidered “Be Boodles” motif, an operation that required no less than 278,566 stitches and six hours of work!
Jewelry signed by Boodles is also found inside, with a unique handcrafted “Be Boodles Bentley” pendant on the center console, featuring a double “B” set with diamonds, 24-carat gold-plated air vents, and a Boodles jewelry motif on the Bentley rotating display. The illuminated door sills are also specific, accompanied by Boodles lighting and an engraved “one of one” plaque.
A truly unique creation, the Bentley Continental GTC Boodles will be offered for sale from April 11, 2024, at Jack Barclay, the brand’s oldest dealership located in London.
