Kerstin Beume has dedicated herself to gemstones and their healing properties. The woman from Vorst runs the company Kristallreichart in her hometown.
When gemstone names like moonstone, garnet, onyx, amber, tiger’s eye, or lapis lazuli come up, most people simply think of the beauty of the stones. Kerstin Beume also loves the beauty of these gemstones, but for her, they mean much more. The woman from Vorst has been studying the healing properties of stones for decades. This year, she took a decisive step and became self-employed under the name “Kristallreichart.”
Although she has not yet fulfilled her dream of having her own shop in Vorst, anyone who enters her living room can see at first glance that they have arrived at Kristallreichart.
On a white cabinet stands a tiered stand containing various raw stones and tumbled stones. The latter are already polished varieties. In a large glass are water sticks in the form of test tubes with cork stoppers, filled with various stone fillings. Numerous bracelets, some made from a mix of gemstones, but also single-type versions, are on display. There are also earrings and pendants.
In addition to gemstones, the stone expert also works with singing bowls.
Kerstin Beume can be reached by email at [email protected]. Her website www.kristallreich.art is also expected to go live soon.
For jewelry, she works with real silver wire or, for bracelets, with a special elastic band onto which the stones are threaded. Regarding the water sticks, she constantly surprises her customers by offering them a glass of water. She has water carafes filled with ordinary tap water, in which there are differently filled water sticks.
As a child, Beume, who originally comes from the Siegerland region, discovered her penchant for stones.
Her collecting passion drove her mother up the wall, Beume adds with a smile. Over the years, she realized that stones are not only beautiful but also have effects. The fascination with the healing properties of gemstones captivated her as a teenager.
Professionally, Beume completed training as a curative education nurse, followed by numerous further training courses in areas including ventilation and relaxation pedagogy. At the same time, she taught herself about healing stones. She read specialist books and attended relevant seminars.
This remains true today. Currently, the woman from Vorst is training in classical homeopathy. A field that, as Beume notes, can be wonderfully combined with the healing powers of gemstones. Stones and homeopathic remedies have many parallels.
When Beume talks about gemstones and their healing properties, her eyes light up. Her passion for the subject is evident.
What you need catches your eye, she adds. If this is not the case, she assists her customers with her expertise to find the right human-stone combination for the moment, which brings balance and well-being. Custom jewelry pieces are also created upon request.
