Editor’s Note
Bulgari and MB&F reunite for a second act, merging jewelry artistry with avant-garde watchmaking in the Serpenti—a hypnotic, biomorphic creation limited to 99 pieces.
Bulgari and MB&F merge their expertise to create the Serpenti, a hypnotic watch blending biomorphic design and high watchmaking. Three editions of 33 pieces each, for discerning collectors.

The story between Bulgari and MB&F is not new. Their first collaboration, the LM Flying Allegra, unveiled in 2021, made a mark by combining Bulgari’s jewelry exuberance with MB&F’s unconventional watchmaking engineering. Building on this success, the two houses sought to go further by reinterpreting one of Bulgari’s most iconic models: the Serpenti. An icon since 1948, the Serpenti collection embodies metamorphosis and elegance. Inspired by the serpent, a symbol of rebirth and seduction, it blends bold design and exceptional craftsmanship. Jewelry and watchmaking meet here, with flexible gold bracelets, sparkling diamonds, and sophisticated dials for an aesthetic that is both contemporary and timeless. This collection, which has evolved over time while maintaining its mystical aura, is now reinvented through the new Bulgari x MB&F Serpenti – a bold reinterpretation that fuses jewelry sophistication and high mechanical watchmaking.

A watch inspired by the serpent’s metamorphosis. The design of the Bulgari x MB&F Serpenti is a technical and artistic challenge. Its case, crafted from high-end materials, is available in three versions: titanium, rose gold, and black PVD steel. Each version is distinguished by colored elements on the rotating domes, reminiscent of a serpent’s hypnotic eyes. With dimensions of 39 x 53 x 18 millimeters, the Bulgari x MB&F Serpenti is a piece that does not go unnoticed on the wrist. Its case is fully openworked to provide an unobstructed view of its complex mechanism. The watch features five anti-reflective sapphire crystals, including two placed on the serpent’s eyes, enhancing the biomorphic and living aspect of the creation.
A revolutionary mechanical movement. Under its futuristic case, this new Bulgari x MB&F Serpenti houses a manually wound movement developed in-house, totaling 310 hand-finished components. This exceptional caliber is designed to power two rotating domes indicating hours and minutes respectively. Key features of the movement include: a floating balance wheel with a diameter of 14 mm, oscillating at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour; ultra-light aluminum domes machined with extreme precision, displaying hours and minutes in an original way; and a 45-hour power reserve indicated on the back of the watch. Winding and time-setting are done via two discreet crowns located in the rear lugs of the case.

Bulgari and MB&F offer three limited editions, each of 33 pieces, of this unprecedented Serpenti. Version in grade 5 titanium with blue domes: this lightweight and modern version offers a high-tech and futuristic aesthetic. Titanium is appreciated for its robustness and lightness, while the blue domes enhance the hypnotic allure of the serpent.
