A unique and special jewel that will adorn the finger of whoever wins the pole position after official practice. A jewel completely made in Brianza, crafted by the great master goldsmith Guido Guzzi from Villasanta. A jewel that naturally evokes the world of car racing.
This year too, the Italian Grand Prix will boast a special prize, which last year was won by Lando Norris. The Queen’s Ring, promoted by the Scuderia Ferrari Club of Caprino Bergamasco, was born from an idea by two local entrepreneurs: Antonio Mariani and Enrico Squarzina, and is crafted by master goldsmith Guido Guzzi. A jewel whose shape recalls the plates that make up the Iron Crown (hence the name) and evokes the world of motors with the checkered flag and the Italian Tricolore.
A true gem that was previewed yesterday, Monday, September 1st, at the Pirellone in the presence of the President of the Region, Attilio Fontana, and the regional councilor Alessandro Corbetta, as well as the promoters and the master goldsmith. A jewel that will be delivered directly on September 7th to the driver who won the pole the day before, personalized with his name.
The yellow gold is interspersed with bas-reliefs of the metal part that dynamically recreate the checkered flag, a symbol of motorsport, while the Italian Tricolore is suggested by the shades of the precious stones set: diamond, rubies, and tsavorite.
