This article provides an overview of the upcoming Gem Expo in Toronto, highlighting its venue, featured offerings, and appeal to collectors and enthusiasts.
The Gem Expo, one of Toronto’s most anticipated gem and jewelry exhibitions, attracts a large number of collectors, designers, and natural stone enthusiasts each year. The venue is located at the Hyatt Regency Toronto (370 King St West), in the heart of the city’s entertainment district, offering convenient transportation and a vibrant shopping atmosphere. The Gem Expo will transform the Hyatt Regency into a dazzling marketplace featuring rare rough stones, handmade jewelry, and metaphysical treasures. The event is scheduled for March 13 to 15, 2026, making it a premier destination for gem collectors, jewelry designers, and crystal healing enthusiasts.
This year’s expo introduces several exciting updates designed to enhance the experience for both casual shoppers and professional gem artisans.
In response to growing consumer demand for sustainability, the 2026 expo features a dedicated “From Mine to Market” transparent trade zone. Visitors can interact directly with suppliers to learn about the origins of gemstones and the fair trade practices behind them.

This is a brand-new interactive segment where visitors can select loose stones from participating wholesalers and bring them directly to an on-site studio. Experienced goldsmiths and wire-wrapping artisans will provide custom setting services, transforming chosen rough stones into unique art pieces in just a few hours.
The 2026 expo expands its metaphysical products and services. In addition to crystal displays, it will host a series of new “Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Therapy” sessions and small workshops led by renowned practitioners, delving into the energy frequencies and properties of specific minerals.
For visitors seeking to authenticate personal collections, the expo has upgraded its on-site gem laboratory. Using the latest Raman spectroscopy technology, experts can provide rapid identification and valuation, ensuring buyers feel confident while learning about the scientific composition of their gems.
Beyond the new features, over 40 professional suppliers from around the world will offer a wide range of products, from ancient fossils and mineral specimens to high-end sterling silver and gold jewelry. The diverse exhibits ensure options for every budget and interest.
