Canary Islands takes another step in national and international fashion, hand in hand with the great Madrid-based designer Juan Duyos, president of the Spanish Fashion Creators Association (ACME). He noticed the talent of four Canarian brands and offered them the opportunity to adorn his garments with accessories and jewelry at the fashion show held this Tuesday at the Instituto Cervantes in Madrid, as part of Madrid Fashion Week.
Francisco Luque, from the brand GalloBuey, designed 3D bags, merging fashion and technology with a common goal: sustainability. From his workshop in Tenerife, he has been developing a mentorship led by Duyos, through which he has been able to adapt his work to the needs of this internationally oriented brand. For Angie Vasquez from Lanzarote, having her bags and belts featured in one of the industry’s most important events is undoubtedly an opportunity that opens doors to new projects and a new vision for her brand, which always strives to capture her emotionality and connection with authenticity. Also from the land of fire and volcanoes, Silvia de Noia created exclusive pieces for Duyos, where models wore jewelry with a distinctive seal: the connection with island nature. Finally, Melisa Rodríguez from La Palma elevated her jewelry brand Lepa Punca to this Canarian runway, showcasing her identity through delicate and unique jewelry.

Juan Duyos brought a commitment to elegance to the runway, presenting a complete show of over 40 different designs under the title
in front of media, influencers, and industry professionals.
This action culminated in a networking session where the Canarian brands could deepen their commercial strategy, strengthen relationships with the fashion world, and explore potential future projects to further elevate their brands.
Thanks to the work carried out by Proexca in supporting Canarian companies in their international expansion, this initiative was made possible, offering an opportunity for these four designers, who belong to the fashion labels of the councils Tenerife Moda, Lanzarote Moda, and Isla Bonita Moda.
Madrid es Moda thus concludes with this show an edition that lasted six days and brought together thirty creators, presenting their proposals for the autumn-winter 2026–2027 season at various locations in Madrid.
