Fina García adds a new leg to its business: managing the back office of other jewelry stores. The Catalan jewelry chain has debuted as the manager of the new Bernat Rubí jewelry store, located in Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona), with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of the offering.
The CEO of Fina García, Francesc Casanovas, describes this operation as a “strategic collaboration” through which it makes its company’s services available to the new jewelry store. The company’s management does not rule out extending this new business leg to other companies.

The businessman explains that the owners of small-sized jewelry stores often find day-to-day management difficult, and that is precisely where Fina García comes in.

“The managers will only have to focus on customer service and advice,” he assures.

“The business has become very complicated in recent years,” he argues.

“Modern businesses require having a presence on social networks like Instagram, TikTok, or LinkedIn,” says Casanovas; “they must be able to have time to leave the country to find suppliers, whether in nearby countries like Italy, or further away, all the way to China.”
“Some shopkeepers cannot handle it,” he adds, “and that’s why they sometimes have less competitive prices.”

Service Center and Shared Suppliers

Fina García, which has developed a service center over the years, thus becomes the manager of the Bernat Rubí jewelry store’s point of sale, making available all its computer systems related to human resources management, purchasing, and even its catalog, with unbranded jewelry such as wedding rings.
Both jewelry stores will also share suppliers, so Bernat Rubí will have access to the stock of Fina García’s twenty-five jewelry stores. Some of them, however, will remain exclusive to the company.

“They are the ones that give soul to the brand and differentiation, the ones that serve us directly,” he maintains.
Financial Performance and Expansion Plans

Fina García closed its last fiscal year meeting forecasts, which represented slight growth compared to the previous one. Thus, in 2025, the company recorded revenues of €17.5 million, weathering the shock caused by the rise in metal prices, especially gold and silver.
The company is looking this year to optimize its jewelry store network, as well as seek expansion outside its home market of Catalonia. Recently, Francesc Casanovas stated he was “flexible” in the face of sector volatility. Fina García, which began operations in 1988 under its eponymous founder, operates with four own brands: Fina García, Customima, Relojes Casanova, and Tesi García.

Bernat Rubí Jewelry has more than thirty years of experience in the jewelry sector, although until now it only had a physical presence in the L’illa Diagonal shopping center in Barcelona, and also operated through its own website. The new establishment is located at number 23 on Carrer Caputxins.
