Editor’s Note

Chow Tai Fook’s new Canton Road flagship store marks a strategic expansion beyond traditional jewelry, debuting the ‘Chow Tai Fook Home’ category to attract a broader clientele.

Chow Tai Fook’s flagship store on Canton Road officially opened, with management believing the location helps attract a diverse customer base. Beyond its traditional jewelry business, the company has launched its first ‘Chow Tai Fook Home’ product category.

Flagship Store Highlights

With a glittering gold facade and a full wall of dragon-and-phoenix bangles, stepping inside allows customers to sit down for a game of chess. This store on Canton Road serves as a transformation hub for Chow Tai Fook.

“It is a world-renowned shopping destination. Our customer base is broad, ranging from high-end luxury clients to more mass-market or younger customers, plus many tourists. We have a wide product mix, and after seeing it, they feel there are many lifestyle scenarios, which is quite popular with them.”

Attracting Younger Customers

Expanding into Home Market
None

The company has recently ventured into the home market, integrating gold jewelry into everyday life. Wong believes the home products market is vast with significant development potential.

“For example, you’ll see we have Go, chess, and mahjong—these are special, high-quality items made from different materials. In the global high-end home market, it already exceeded $150 billion in 2025, and the market is expected to reach nearly $240 billion by 2034. So we see the potential in this market, especially in the Asia-Pacific region where growth will be even faster.”

She revealed that new products will continue to roll out, with launches planned in other first- and second-tier cities in mainland China, and will be sold overseas at the appropriate time.
