From June 19 to 26, 2026, Christie’s Paris opens a free exhibition to the public, showcasing 20 pieces of jewelry from the actress’s personal collection. This is an opportunity to get up close with the Italian actress’s private jewelry collection. Before they are sold in the online auction Joaillerie Paris, it is a moment to experience the jewels that accompanied one of the legends of European cinema.
Behind the display cases at Christie’s is not just a collection of exceptional jewels, but the taste of a woman who has transcended eras with an elegance that has not dimmed over the decades. Visitors will encounter several iconic pieces from Bvlgari, a Roman house deeply connected to the atmosphere of Dolce Vita and the stars of Cinecittà. A particularly notable piece is a Serpenti watch from the 1960s, crafted in enamel and sapphire, estimated to be worth between €150,000 and €250,000. Also on display is a set of three signature rings from the Roman luxury house, set with a 30-carat ruby, emerald, and star sapphire, respectively.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is a section dedicated to the craftsmanship of Buccellati, featuring several floral brooches, a complete jewelry set, and a classic butterfly-shaped jewel. From the Place Vendôme side, a gold powder pouch signed by Van Cleef & Arpels and a Cartier Tank watch are also on display, completing a journey where cinema, fashion, and high jewelry intersect.
The exhibition carries special meaning. A portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to the Fondazione Claudia Cardinale, established by her daughter Claudia Squitieri to support young female artists.
Before returning to the auction stage, these jewels shine like an open jewelry box.
