Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), organizer of the Vicenzaoro jewelry fair, and AFEMO, the Italian association of jewelry machinery manufacturers and exporters, have renewed their strategic partnership for 2026–2028. This renewal, backed by a €60 million self-financed investment to expand the exhibition center, will enhance integration between the T.Gold technology exhibition and Vicenzaoro, creating a more effective ecosystem for global jewelry buyers and supply-chain professionals.
Supply-chain impact
The partnership strengthens the link between jewelry manufacturing technology and finished-product exhibitions. T.Gold will move from Hall 9 to Hall 4, fostering closer alignment with Vicenzaoro. Starting this year, T.Gold runs two annual editions in January and September, fully synchronized with Vicenzaoro’s schedule. This integration offers overseas buyers and OEM/ODM partners a consolidated platform to explore advanced machinery, automation, and quality-control solutions alongside finished jewelry collections.
Technology trends for buyers
AFEMO and IEG will jointly identify and promote key macro trends reshaping jewelry manufacturing, including advanced automation, additive technologies, binder jetting, new materials, sustainable production processes, and innovative testing and quality-control solutions. For importers and private-label brands, these developments signal opportunities to source more efficient, sustainable, and high-precision manufacturing capabilities from Italian suppliers.
Global exhibition network

The collaboration extends beyond Vicenzaoro to include other IEG jewelry events: Oroarezzo in May (Arezzo, Italy), focusing on manufacturing and high-end metal fashion accessories; JGTD – Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai each autumn; and SIJE – Singapore International Jewelry Expo each July. This global network provides buyers with year-round access to Italian machinery expertise and emerging market trends.
What buyers should watch
Overseas jewelry buyers should monitor T.Gold and related exhibitions for early access to next-generation manufacturing technologies that can improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and meet sustainability requirements. The expanded exhibition space and integrated schedule make these events key sourcing intelligence hubs for sterling silver, gold-plated brass, stainless steel, and gemstone jewelry supply chains. > Matteo Farsura, global exhibition manager of IEG’s jewellery exhibitions, said: “Our collaboration with AFEMO represents a strategic asset that goes beyond T.Gold. Together, our goal is to build an innovation platform spanning all our B2B events, capable of promoting knowledge transfer and supporting the international competitiveness of companies throughout the supply chain.” > AFEMO president Massimo Poliero added: “The renewal of our partnership with IEG and Vicenzaoro confirms a strategic collaboration that enables us to monitor, interpret and guide these markets while strengthening Italy’s leadership in the sector. The technological know-how of our industry is a crucial driver of competitiveness for Italian brands.”
