Jenaro has been in a nearly six-decade love affair with the city where it opened its doors in 1969. If there is one thing that characterizes this family jewelry store, besides the quality of its pieces and the close, personalized service of its professionals, it is its ‘Ferrolanismo’ and continuous renewal without losing the essence forged by the patriarch through hard work.
In line with taking on more challenges and surprising its clientele, they have just presented two very special figures. It was last Monday when Jenaro Fernández, accompanied by his daughter Fátima, were received at the Navantia Ferrol shipyard by its director, Eduardo Dobarro, who was enthusiastic about a creation that faithfully represents what have become urban icons: the crane-like gantry cranes. Additionally, they are accompanied by a scaled-down door from the Taxonera district, made into a more accessible detail.
From Jenaro, they have nothing but words of gratitude to the shipyard, which not only allowed its logo to be engraved on the pieces but will also acquire a batch to use as institutional gifts. The new creations are now on sale for anyone who wants to add them to their collection, both at the main jewelry store at 61 Galiano Street and at 24 on the same street, where the specific Sargadelos store they manage is located.
