On the morning of July 21, the price of SJC gold remained unchanged compared to the previous day’s closing price among companies.
At 8:40 AM, several companies, including Saigon Jewelry Company, announced the price of SJC gold at 143 million to 146 million VND per tael (buy-sell). This price was unchanged from the previous day’s closing price.
Silver prices rose again. At 8:40 AM, Phu Quy Group announced the price of silver bullion at 2.163 million to 2.23 million VND per tael (buy-sell), up 0.04% compared to the previous day’s closing price.
In overnight trading on July 20 (Vietnam time), global gold prices fell slightly. This was due to rising energy prices amid escalating US-Iran conflict and uncertainty over US interest rate outlook. As a result, as of 1:50 AM on July 21 (Vietnam time), spot gold prices fell 0.2% to $4,007.91 per ounce. US gold futures for August 2026 also fell slightly, closing 0.1% lower at $4,015.90 per ounce.
