According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-carat gold was 1,43,368 rupees per 10 grams at market close. Meanwhile, in Delhi’s bullion market, gold prices rose to a high of 1,48,500 rupees per 10 grams. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, 24-carat gold futures were recorded at 1,43,480 rupees per 10 grams. Additionally, according to Goodreturns, the price of 24-carat gold stood at 1,44,330 rupees per 10 grams.

Along with gold, silver prices also saw significant changes, with prices in Delhi rising by 5,000 rupees to 2,37,000 rupees per kilogram. On the MCX, silver futures reached 2,22,680 rupees per kilogram, which is big news for investors. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewelers Association, 1 kg of silver was priced at 2,20,390 rupees at market close on Friday. Due to local taxes, there is a slight difference in 24-carat gold prices across major cities in the country. In the capital Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold is 1,44,480 rupees per 10 grams, while in the financial capital Mumbai it is 1,44,330 rupees. In Chennai, the price is 1,45,090 rupees, in Patna 1,44,380 rupees, and in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, it is 1,44,480 rupees per 10 grams. In Kolkata, the rate for 10 grams of gold is recorded at 1,44,330 rupees.

According to Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst at HDFC Securities, a weak US dollar and buying at lower prices supported trading sentiment. Others say that due to diplomatic efforts between the US and Iran, spot gold prices are stable.
