**Editor’s Note:** Max & Co. reimagines modern connection with “THE DATE EDIT,” a capsule collection by Sami Miro that expands dating beyond romance to include friendships, self-care, and professional bonds.
Max & Co. has unveiled its capsule collection “THE DATE EDIT,” created in collaboration with Los Angeles-based creative director and designer Sami Miro. Beginning with the question, “What does your ideal date look like?”, this collection offers new possibilities for modern dating. Dating here celebrates the fluidity of diverse relationships—not just between lovers, but also time spent connecting deeply with friends, colleagues, or oneself. From first dates to anniversary dinners, solo nights to girls’ nights out, the collection features looks perfectly suited for every scenario, embodying a new form of love that breaks traditional stereotypes.
The collection spans from special occasion pieces to everyday wardrobe essentials. Deeply wrinkled leather and edgy, cool denim—core elements of the collection—reflect Max & Co.’s signature “mix and match” spirit. Delicate sheer lace and flowing crepe fabrics are infused with tough nuances, while punchy-colored viscose jersey vests and lightweight scuba jersey sets express that active places like gyms and parks can also be stages for dates.
Tailoring plays a key role in this collection. Inspired by men’s suiting styles, Sami’s signature “deconstruction” aesthetic is poured into sets with a twist, featuring halter-neck gilets, waterfall-hem blazers, and hybrid tie-front shirts. Meanwhile, supple silk twill with soft animal prints for an edge, frilled crepe blouses, and handkerchief-hem dresses embody the thrill of modern romance. Delicate lace updates not only light shirts and skirts but also Max & Co.’s staple logo T-shirts in a fresh way. Exclusive designs layered with fine black lace can be dressed up or down seamlessly, bridging day and night.
Completing the collection are accessories such as a book bag in supremely soft chocolate-colored nappa leather and mules echoing the design of lace-up shirts. The collection is scheduled to launch at Max & Co. stores nationwide and on the official online shop from mid-July 2026.
