In the bullion market of the national capital, New Delhi, gold and silver prices remained at elevated levels on Saturday. The price of 24-carat pure gold was recorded at ₹1,43,430 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was at ₹1,31,650 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 18-carat gold was priced at ₹1,07,710 per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver traded at ₹235 per gram and ₹2,56,900 per kilogram. Amid continuously changing market trends, investors and jewelry buyers are advised to check the latest prices before making purchases.
On Saturday, slight variations in gold and silver prices were observed across the country’s major metropolitan cities:
– In Delhi, 24-carat gold was sold at ₹1,43,430 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,31,650 per 10 grams.
– In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,43,280 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,29,050 per 10 grams.
– In Chennai, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,43,430 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,30,570 per 10 grams, while in Kolkata, 24-carat gold was at ₹1,43,280 and 22-carat gold at ₹1,30,020 per 10 grams.
– Silver prices remained uniform across all four metros at ₹2,34,900 per kilogram.
In key cities of Madhya Pradesh—Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Jabalpur—gold and silver prices saw slight fluctuations on Saturday. 22-carat gold traded between ₹1,30,650 and ₹1,31,589 per 10 grams, while 24-carat pure gold was recorded between ₹1,42,580 and ₹1,43,280 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver prices stood at ₹25,090 per 10 grams, i.e., ₹2,50,900 per kilogram. Market experts say that due to movements in international markets and the dollar, prices of precious metals are continuously changing, so buyers should check the latest rates before purchasing.
Fluctuations were also observed in precious metal prices in international markets. According to data from Trading Economics and Livemint, gold prices traded between $3,977 and $4,016 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices were recorded around $55.65 to $55.98 per troy ounce. These changes in the global market may impact the domestic bullion market, potentially leading to further fluctuations in gold and silver prices in the coming days.
