**Editor’s Note:** The Jewelers of Louisiana will mark its 80th annual convention Aug. 29-30 in New Orleans, featuring education sessions on sales, industry trends, and hot market items, alongside a design contest awards dinner.
New Orleans—The Jewelers of Louisiana convention is returning next month with a lineup of education sessions.
The organization’s 80th annual convention is scheduled to take place Aug. 29-30 at the Harrah’s Hotel in the Caesars Casino in New Orleans.
The two-day event will begin with dinner and an awards ceremony for the organization’s custom jewelry design contest on Saturday night at Galatoire’s restaurant in New Orleans.
Sunday’s activities will take place at the Harrah’s Hotel, including education sessions on sales, the state of the industry, and hot market items.

Dr. Donya Ball will host two sessions, “Brilliance by Design- The Growth Code for Lasting Leadership Impact” and “Shine Online- How AI and Social Media Can Elevate Your Brand.”
Gail Brett Levine will present “Antique Jewelry Through Time: Identifying Georgian and Victorian Eras, Styles, and Motifs.”

Stuller’s Harold Dupuy will present the “Jewelry Industry Insights” session.
Maria Gentle of Jewelers Mutual is also slated to host a session.
