From crystal enthusiasts seeking positive energy to fossil hunters and first-time visitors, a wide range of people are expected to browse the Stone Haven Crystal Healing and Mineral Show this weekend at the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre.
The two-day event features vendors from across Western Canada offering crystals, minerals, fossils, carvings, jewelry, art and handcrafted items while sharing knowledge about their collections.

“We’re just a group of vendors that get together who are promoting community over competition,” said Brody Weber of Lethbridge, Alta. “We’re just here to educate people on crystals and to sell our crystals and have a good time. It’s all about positive energy.”
Weber said one of his favourite pieces in his own personal collection is a sphere that is actually a composite of about five different minerals that also fluoresce three different colours under blacklight.

According to Weber, interest in crystals varies widely among visitors. Some are drawn to the spiritual and metaphysical beliefs associated with different stones, while others are collectors looking for unique mineral specimens or artistic carvings.
