I got married last August and my accessories were one of the last things I sorted (to tell you the truth, I sort of forgot!). Thankfully I had a plethora of inspiration to browse, and a whole host of jewelry PR friends and experts at my fingertips, so now I am passing on my wisdom – i.e. which styles are worth the investment and trending for 2026 – to you.
As expected, Danielle Frankel, Marmar Halim and Lihi Hod took a modern approach with oversized, sculptural earrings and XL necklaces that stood out as much as the gowns did. And I’m just as obsessed.
And if you can’t go for something standout-ish at your own nuptials, then when can you? That said, if you’re a bride like I was with a dress that speaks for itself, you might not want anything too OTT. I ended up wearing a dainty pair of drop pearl earrings from Lily & Roo, alongside a Van Cleef & Arpels Alhambra necklace (gifted to me by my husband on the morning of our wedding – I’ve trained him well).

Pearl drop earrings are a classic for brides whether you pinch your grandma’s for your ‘something borrowed’ or treat yourself to a new set. Delicate, short chains with a sprinkle of sparkle are my favourite kinds of necklaces – particularly on brides. Depending on the neckline of your gown, they can lend a pretty focal point to otherwise open space. Astrid & Miyu’s bridal collection hits the mark with the below lariat design. I’m obsessed.

One of the ‘big’ things people forget when planning a wedding? To buy their wedding bands. And, no, I don’t mean the musical sort. Whether you decide to go for a pavé-style eternity ring, or something more pared-back via yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or platinum, the important thing is that you remember to purchase one.

New York Bridal Fashion Week wholeheartedly proved her point. Simple, freshwater studs adorned the ears of Anne Barge’s models, while traditional diamond and pearl drop earrings saw a resurgence courtesy of the likes of Enaura and Ines di Santo.
