Today’s gold price update (July 17, 2026) shows that buyers who purchased gold in early March have incurred losses of up to 43 million VND per ounce.
Compared to early March, the buying price of domestic gold bars has dropped by 38.2 to 40 million VND per ounce. Selling prices across various brands are also lower, ranging between 38.5 and 39 million VND per ounce.
If gold was purchased at its selling price on March 1 and resold at the current buying price, buyers are losing between 40.7 and 43 million VND per tael. Bao Tin Minh Chau suffered the highest loss, while Mi Hong has incurred the lowest loss so far.

SJC Company has currently set the buying price of SJC gold at 145.2 million VND/ounce and the selling price at 148.2 million VND/ounce. Compared to 184-187 million VND/ounce in early March, both prices have dropped by 38.8 million VND/ounce.
Doji is currently buying gold bars at 145.5 million VND/ounce and selling at 148.5 million VND/ounce.
Compared to the price of 184-187 million VND/ounce on March 1, both buying and selling prices here are 38.5 million VND/ounce lower. If purchased at 187 million VND/ounce, buyers are losing 41.5 million VND/ounce at the time of resale.
Compared to early March, gold prices at PNJ have dropped by 38.8 million VND/ounce.
